When temperatures hit the 90s and higher, even a well-maintained system may struggle to cool your space more than 15–20°F below the outdoor temperature. That’s why it’s common for homes to feel a little warmer on extremely hot days, even with the A/C running constantly. 🔥 Avoiding Overload and Unit Freeze-Up Running the unit non-stop, especially with a dirty filter, puts your system at risk of overheating or freezing up.
